Kyruus Appoints John Downey as Senior Vice President of Sales

Kyruus, a leader in provider search and scheduling solutions for health systems, announced today that John Downey has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Sales. A proven sales leader within healthcare IT, Downey represents a key hire in the company’s commercial expansion. He will be responsible for leading the Kyruus sales team and accelerating adoption of its multi-channel, ProviderMatch suite of products across the country.
Downey brings more than 20 years of sales leadership experience in the healthcare industry, including 15 years at McKesson Health Solutions, a division of McKesson Technology Solutions. He most recently led health system sales for McKesson’s Decision Management group as Area Vice President of Sales for North America. Before that, he served as Director of Sales and Account Management for the division, where he was responsible for both acquiring new business and driving success for existing customers. During his tenure at McKesson, John played a key role in driving more than 16x revenue growth for the division.
