Karyopharm Therapeutics Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering
NATICK, Mass., Nov. 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc., a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company focused on developing novel first-in-class drugs directed against nuclear transport targets for the treatment of cancer and other major diseases, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 6,800,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $16.00 per share. All of the shares of common stock are being offered by Karyopharm. In addition, Karyopharm has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,020,000 shares of common stock at the same price, less the underwriting discount. The company’s shares are expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Select Market on November 6, 2013 under the ticker symbol “KPTI”.
The offering is expected to close on November 12, 2013, subject to customary closing conditions.
