Kit Check Names Cameron Ferroni as Chief Product Officer
Washington, DC – Kit Check™ (https://kitcheck.com), the leader in hospital pharmacy kit restocking and medication tracking software, today announced Cameron Ferroni as Chief Product Officer. Ferroni will lead the product and engineering teams in enhancing Kit Check’s product portfolio, including the recently released Narc Check solution that streamlines narcotic tracking compliance, use and billing reconciliation in the hospital operating room and pharmacy.
Ferroni has a proven track record of cultivating successful teams. He began his career at Microsoft where he served on a number of product teams eventually becoming one of the founders of Xbox and Xbox Live. As General Manager of the Xbox product, Ferroni formed the initial product vision and strategy and recruited and managed the 50-person platform software team. Ferroni then went on to serve in a variety of executive leadership roles at several other companies, including Marchex, Emicus, and Gridpoint, and was most recently COO of The Clymb, where business quadrupled in just two years during his leadership. He also served as EVP Product and Engineering at Gridpoint and is founder of Fisheye Solutions and What’s Next Consulting. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BASc in Computer Engineering.
“Cam Ferroni is an accomplished product development leader that has delivered extraordinary results. He also has deep experience developing both business and consumer technologies. Unlike traditional healthcare software, Kit Check was designed from the beginning to combine the reliability of business software with the ease-of-use principles more common in consumer software. We have proven that you can provide hospital pharmacy solutions that deliver both powerful results and are as easy to use as an iPhone. Cam’s experience will help us make Kit Check even friendlier for the user and his leadership will be critical as we expand into new process areas such as narcotics compliance and billing reconciliation in the operating room,” said Kit Check co-founder and CEO Kevin MacDonald.
Kit Check’s new Chief Product Officer Cameron Ferroni added, “I am impressed with Kit Check’s product portfolio and rapid customer adoption rate. When nine in ten hospitals that automate pharmacy medication restocking are already choosing Kit Check, you know there is an effective product that meets a real need. I am excited to help build on the company’s culture of innovation and enhance the product portfolio for medication tracking, process automation and analytics for the OR and pharmacy.”
