Summa Health Selects ProviderMatch to Power Access for Clinically Integrated Network
Leading health system will leverage Kyruus’ suite of solutions to optimize physician care coordination across Ohio’s largest CIN
Boston, MA, March 1, 2016 – Kyruus, Inc., a leading provider of patient access and referral management solutions, announced today that Summa Health System – one of Ohio’s largest integrated delivery networks – will deploy the ProviderMatch platform across its access channels to drive referral accuracy and efficiency for the recently formed Advanced Health Select (AHS) clinically integrated network. AHS, a joint venture between Summa Health and Mercy Health, includes thousands of providers across Ohio and Kentucky and is transforming how care is managed for hundreds of thousands of patients in the region.
To further its mission of providing “the right care at the right time in the right place” for its patients, Summa’s access center agents will use the ProviderMatch platform to dynamically match patients with the right AHS providers for their specific clinical and operational needs. Understanding the growing need to empower patients themselves with more robust provider search tools, AHS and Summa will also leverage ProviderMatch’s robust search features to power accurate matching across their patient-facing physician finder website. The Summa Health deployment will build upon the existing enterprise access efforts between Kyruus and Mercy Health announced earlier this year.
“A clinically integrated network provides a real opportunity to improve the health of large communities as long as there is a deep understanding of the expertise and capacity of each provider in that network,” said Ellen Smith, vice president of business development and access at Summa Health. “Kyruus’ unique ability to gather detailed and accurate data for our providers and communicate that data, in real time, to both referral coordinators and patients will be instrumental to the success of this major initiative, as well as our broader efforts to increase access across Summa Health.”
“Now more than ever, organizations need to work together to innovate and transform the ways in which care is managed and delivered,” said Graham Gardner, MD, MBA, chief executive officer at Kyruus. “Summa and Mercy are two such organizations – committed to putting their patient populations first. We are excited to partner with them.”
