NxStage® Announces Streamline® Blood
Tubing Set Supply Agreement Between Medisystems® and Reliant
Renal Care
LAWRENCE, Mass., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NxStage
Medical, Inc. (Nasdaq: NXTM), a leading manufacturer of
innovative dialysis products, today announced that its
wholly-owned subsidiary, Medisystems Corporation, has signed a
new three-year product supply agreement with Reliant Renal Care,
Inc., for the delivery of Streamline airless blood tubing sets,
as well as MasterGuard® safety needles with FingerShield® to
Reliant's dialysis center network.

Streamline. Streamline features an efficient and airless design

Streamline is designed to reduce dialysate flow, dialyzer size,
treatment time, minimize heparin and waste, and optimize dose
delivery, as measured in Kt/V. Streamline also includes
Medisystems' patented LockSite® ( )needleless access ports,
which eliminate the need for sharp needles or costlier guarded
needles to be used with the tubing set during dialysis.
