ReShape Medical, Inc. Builds Momentum with Next Generation Integrated Dual Balloon System at ObesityWeek 2015
Following FDA Approval, Company Focused on Physician Training and Comprehensive Patient Care
LOS ANGELES and SAN CLEMENTE, Calif., Nov. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — (Booth #529) — ReShape Medical, Inc. announced today that the company will focus on physician education and training, as well as its comprehensive patient care program at ObesityWeek 2015, taking place this week in Los Angeles. Building on substantial momentum since FDA approval of the ReShape™ Integrated Dual Balloon System in July, the company will host and be featured in educational events and training courses developed to provide bariatric surgeons with key learnings and shared insights on the use of the dual balloon system in clinical practice.

ReShape provides a new option for adults with a BMI of 30-40 and a related health condition who haven’t succeeded at diet and exercise alone, and do not want or do not qualify for bariatric surgery.

About the ReShape Integrated Dual Balloon System
The ReShape Dual Balloon is a next generation technology designed to enhance performance in three important areas. First, two connected balloons have the largest fill volume available, taking up more space in the stomach than the old style single balloons. In a study of the ReShape Procedure in commercial use in Europe, ReShape patients on average lost 36 pounds, or 47% of their excess weight at six months and maintained 94% of their weight loss at one year.
